I will say that the actress pictured is one of the most famous Hong Kong actresses ever, and the film is one of the most highly regarded and beloved Hong Kong films of the past 20 years.

Ok, I reckon some clues are in order. No one here has seen this movie. If y'all had, it would be instantly recognizable from the three shots above, especially the last one.

Clue 1: The male lead (shown in the first of the three shots above) killed himself about 5 years ago. He was a huge HK pop singer in the '80s and starred in some of the most famous HK movies of all time (this being one of them).

Clue 2: The director, in additon to his HK work, also directed "Bride of Chucky," "The 51st State," and "Freddy vs. Jason."

Let's see if that helps.

You should definitely check it out. It's a great film. It's about a group of astronauts that are sent into space to reignite the sun, but then they take a distress call from another spaceship and things begin to go horribly wrong.

will do, by boyle aint it? the bloke behaind 28 days later. i love that film. scarey as hell. had to cling on to my gun blade replica throughout for protection. then was too afraid to let the dog outside beofre bed incase somthing was out there. nasty suprise on kitchen floor next day.

And the remake of 12 Angry Men sucked, IMHO. The original is one of my faves, too!!

I've never seen the remake but I can't imagine how it could capture the essence of the original. The acting is superb, and the camera work is amazing. You can really sense the tension and uneasiness in the room. :thumbsup:
