The plan is to merge the two off topic forums we currently have into one mighty forum. The friendly staff from both Dixie Pig and Blue heaven will be in charge of the new area, so all your old friends will be there, and perhaps you can meet and make new friends.

The answer: As anyone who was in AE for long over at .net knows there was much drama. Originally the idea was that splitting the off topic section here might decrease such nonsense. As we've had so little drama we figure there is no longer a need or sense in a split.
