Buddy was the best. We dearly miss him! Whenever I walk into an empty house I thinkoif him as he ALWAYS greeted us at the door with a tail a waggin. Perhaps to throw us off our game as to maybe us not noticing the damages he did while left alone to explore the house. I have this great list of items he has eaten over the years, to include:

eye glasses, retainers, polished stones, spoiled meat, chicken bones (by the thousands), Ritalin, wallpaper, carpeting, wooden furniture, toothbrushes galore, over a pound of chocolate in one sitting, used tampax (one of his specialties), shoes, slippers, tv remote, extension cord (while plugged in), brillo pad, plastic water bottles, bottlecaps, and the list goes on and on. Pretty sure his stomach was cast iron!

One of my fave stories was the one where he picked a fight with the neighborhood Rotweiller! Geesh I give him creidt - he had balls - but stupid as hell. Good thing the Rotweiller (his name was Bear) was overly friendly! Another fave story was when he did not get hit by the car, BUT he did run into the side door of a moving car while chasing a cat! Knocked him out cold - scared teh carp out of the driver - dam I thought he was dead!

But he was also the most loving and faithful dog ever! And your picture of Bomber brought up some great memories - so I donated in memory of Buddy so that a fellow Beagle could get a few extra treats!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK Folks, I certainly appreciate your donations, but in my exuberance I may have gone a bit over the top. I think I will have to "cap" this little gesture at $200 so I will still have means to bid and donate later on. We still have $65 to go though!!! After that, Bomber will need a colonoscopy!!
