I'd have to say I'm one of those who only got minimally involved in posting here too - kind of posting a bit on the fringes here & there. Probably fence-sitting 'till I see what happens.

I agree Jean, .net had a lot of great non-AE posting going on all the time. I was more often in GD & Books than in AE (but AE was great in it's own right too), and then of course there ws Palaver (kept in GD despite various kites flown to move it to AE!).

Maybe it'll all come back eh?:excited:

me too, but I still miss palaver everyday, and suppose I always will by the look of things. Chat was fun one night last week , and all my friends (mostly) are here its just that hanging at the dixie pig inbetween acts of canabalism
isnt the same. Everything else is great better even in many ways, so how is it that it feels like the ka-tet is broke when were still here?:orely:

Well, maybe his world moved on Liz. Nothing was ever static at NET either - lots of people came & went over the years. That's the way of new electronic world we try to exist in I guess.
When/if NET gets back on air - not all the old gang will be back there.

No Linda, it was still up (or up/down/slow/up/slow/etc...) for a good while after that.

Hey everyone....I used to be a regular on tdt.net, and JUST found this site...I was actually doing a google search for "when is thedarktower.net coming back online", and this thread was the number one hit....checked it out, and recognized a lot of familiar names....some of you MAY remember me...I was usually holed up in the riddles section.
