Job Title: Facilitator, The Comic Tower
Job Description:
This facilitator position is a combination of moderating and facilitating posting in The Comic Tower sub-forum.
Moderator responsibilities: merging, moving, and editing threads, monitoring posts in your forum to ensure site policies are being upheld, and cleaning up the forums when needed to ensure duplicate threads, old threads, and obsolete threads are handled properly.
Facilitator responsibilities: encouraging and facilitating conversation in the different threads in the forum through active posting, running contests when needed or asked, and posting in the facilitator staff forums. We ask that our facilitators post actively in his or her forum, and start new threads as needed to enhance discussion in the different areas of the forum.
Facilitators work closely with the managers of the forum to ensure the forum is as active as possible, and are encouraged to find creative ways to increase activity and improve the forum with the approval of the manager.
Additional responsibilities: Maintaining the King Comics Catalog, which will include creating and designing the first post of the thread for each new comic upon release. The template format for the King Comics Catalog was designed by turtlex, the previous Comic Tower facilitator (who is very much missed).
