All FACEBOOK users: today please post for a Clean Energy future. Join the campaign right now to convince Facebook to run their massive data-centres on renewable energy, and ‘Unfriend’ the dirty coal and dangerous nuclear that they’ve chosen.

I believe that every step society takes away from our destructive pattern of dirty fuel dependence brings us greater health and security. A commitment from FACEBOOK by Earth Day could be a huge step for progress on this issue.

So, we successfully broke a world record with >80,000 comments yesterday. Hopefully this will have an impact, help get the ball rolling for new innovations. Google has invested >$150M recently to solar. Again, a commitment from Facebook would mean a lot. Feel free to merge this thread now, to, uh, General Politics or something... unless there's some interested in talking here just more about growing the clean energy economy.
