Great Vid!!! Little back story, I was attending TCU at the time (1977-1980) and I actually worked in the "best Little Whorehouse in Texas" as a Prep-Chef after they literally picked up the Chicken Ranch and moved it to Dallas to become a 4 star restaurant!!!!

Heck I even ate at a buffet style lunch at one place where the lights were so dark you couldn't even tell exactly what the food looked like. I guess in hindsight I've made some really poor decisions in my life...LOL LOL

:thumbsup: to Garrell. Here's a band I saw live in a Pensacola in the mid nineties. The bands name was The For Squirrels and I think later that year they lost a few band members in a auto accident which understandably ended the band.

This was a great show. I remember it so vividly because my buddy who had come down from PA stage dove and nobody caught him. He landed on his side and had a massive bruise on his hip. LOL LOL

Since we're telling a few "War Stories" I thought I'd share this one with you guys. In 1977 Led Zep was on the "Swan Song" tour. I camped overnight to get Tix for the 1st show of the tour at the Tarrant County Convention Center. After much pushing and shoving I wound up being the 2nd person to purchase Tix. They were literally "the" best seats in the house to be had (far as I was concerned). We were 3rd row center, which afforded a very nice perspective of the stage.

Well, what happened was that Page got a sore throat and the show went from being the first on the tour to being the last. We got a few extra treats for that show as Mick Ralphs from Bad Co. showed up to Jam "Rock n Roll" with the boys. I had four seats and one went to a good friend at school (TCU) who was studying to be a Photographer. He had his full rig at the show and with me being so tall, Page and Plant were actually pointing at us and then striking poses!!! This photo I made Raymond send into Rolling Stone Mag for which he recieved $250 for it.

Well, I wanted a copy of the pic, but Raymond would never give em up!!! he was funny that way. Anyway, 20 years later he flies into N.Y. for a seminar and we get together and reminisce about our college days over dinner. Before we parted I reminded him he never gave me a copy of that pic. That Xmas I received the photo in the mail for Xmas!!! Framed and everything!!! So happy endings do happen!!

This may not be everyones speed but this is MXPX. I saw them live in the mid/late 90's in a small club in Pensacola, FL (The Night Owl). I remember this night so well because the club only held about two hundred people and the A/C was out. Imagine Florida in the Summer in a small cramped room with a couple hundred people, loud music, pot, alcohol, cigarettes, and more loud music. Very fun night and the lead singer kept spitting on the crowd...hooray!

What I particularly enjoy about that video is that Prince literally "steals the song"!!!! I don't think the band knew what he had planned.
