To clarify a few questions I have been asked.

For the Grand Prize Drawing anyone who donates $10 or more in cash, Paypal, check, or an item we auctioned off, receives one entry into the Grand Prize Drawing.
For people who donate more than $10 in cash, Paypal, check, or an item we auctioned off there will be a weighted drawing. The weighted drawing caps at 10 entries per person. Example: John Doe donates $20, Jane Doe donates $10, Steve Doe donates $300, and Rick Doe donates an item that was auctioned off for $600. For the regular drawing John would have 2 entries, Jane 1 entry, Steve 10 entries, and Rick 10 entries. If they were the only four people in the drawing the total entries would be 23. Statistically, Steve and Rick each have 10 1/23 chances to win, John has 2 1/23 chances of winning,, and Jane has 1 1/23 chance of winning.
Once a person wins a regular prize, they are removed from the drawing pool, but still remain eligible for the Grand Prize.

I hope I cleared that up (and didn't mess it up).

Bullet No. 2 applies for a person winning an auction as well, right?

No. The presumption is that the winner of an auction received a unique and valuable item.

I know I'm a dope...but to be clear if you won an auction as well as donated $10 or more in cash you will receive an entry into the "grand prize" drawing but NOT the weighted drawing. Right?

How will you know it was us who donated? I mean, I did the widget thing...not sure if I was logged in at the time...and used my real name of course - J. Clay D. Not ICry4Oy :|

Every single Paypal donation gives me the donors email address. I have a spreadsheet that lists every Paypal donation by name, and where possible I added the dt.org screen name.
The winner will be notified by the email address they used to donate.

I think I have this pretty close to right, but "If more than two people know of a charitable event, it doesn't count".
