Do you remember him?
One of my favourite crime series ever. Columbo rocks. I know he is a little bit oldschool but whenever a channel buys this series I watch it. :)

So let me know what you think and feel how much you remember what you liked or couldn't stand.

I haven't seen that show in years!!! I used to watch it as a kid and then caught the reruns a couple of years ago. Loved the show.

I liked the way he allowed people to think him inept, and sloppy,
just so that he could draw them out and bust em!:scared:
The bad guy always showed himself by just overstepping enough
for Colombo to sus him out!

You are not the only Columbo fan at all. My wife and I watched the show when we were growing up. Peter Falk is a great actor. He stars in a favorite movie of mine. "The In-Laws". There was a short lived series called "Mrs. Columbo" that wasn't even close to the original. The fact that you never saw his wife was a great running gag through out the series.

Also they would have some of the biggest stars of TV and movies as the guest killer. My favorite episode would be with Jack Cassidy. "Columbo: Now You See Him". Mr. Cassidy plays a magician.

It's funny that the habit of putting his hand to his forehead was just a device so he could shield his eyes (eye) from the light and see his marks on the floor. That such a simple thing could become a trademark is great Hollywood story.

I enjoyed most of the crime dramas from the 1970's.

Yaaaay! I am not the only Columbo fan!

Columbo Cries Wolf was my favourite episode. Oh, it was so great I felt so sorry for him when he could find out every little detail of the murder and it turned out that the women hadn't died at all.

And anyway...
girls...
do you find him sexy?
Yes I know he is not a Bred Pitt and he has only one eye but I do think he is hot.

I loved Columbo when I was younger.

And I loved Peter Falk in The Princess Bride as the Grandfather. So sweet.

I loved Peter Falk in Sunshine Boys - a very good and genuinely funny, though very sentimental movie - strongly recommended. I never could find the time to watch Columbo, but my mother loves both the movie and the actor.

I can watch those episodes over and over and never tire of them. A&E used to rerun him on Sunday afternoons. He and Banacek were my favorite of the old Wednesday night mysteries.

I LOVE Columbo! I remember back when my girls were little there was a Columbo movie on every Friday (or maybe every other). On Columbo night, my husband would do something with the children so I could watch in peace. Don't bother mom when my boyfriend Columbo is on!:excited:
Isn't his car a Peugot?

Oh, thanks. No easier to spell tho' I believe
I remember him using that car as a ruse to catch
a bad guy/gal or two. What a wonderful characture
that was. The bumbling detective. Got em everytime.
