Damn, this is the toughest poll for me. Burton and Kubrick are my top two. But, I guess I have to go with Burton, I am so excited each time a new Burton movie comes out.

I can't remember the last time I was genuinely excited for a Tim Burton movie, he's been on a losing streak as of late (to put it mildly). With the exception of Big Fish, he's put out several clunkers this past decade - Sweeney Todd, Alice and Wonderland, Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory etc.

This is another tough poll. <_<

 Feev, this breaks my heart.
Going to go with Lynch. That was extremely tough, but I'm pretty sure Burton will easily make it on to the next round.

I went the same way. I love both, and it was tough. Went with Burton, hoping others will take care of Kubrick, who's an absolute god of filmmaking.
looks like they have very good chances of advancing

Lynch, anyone?Someone, please! I'd rather see a tiebreaker then to see him left just about Richard Donner.

Oh, and Burton beating both Kubrick and Lynch ? ... <_<Well, don't blame me. I know I was most vocal in giving Burton some praise, but still I voted for Lynch several days ago. Thought about all three of those, but I would have to agree that such a wide lead by T.B. is rather preposterous.
ETA: Oh, good. 5-5. :)

If Tim Burton hadn't made Alice in Wonderland, I'd be less disappointed to see him on top.
