View Full Version : Tri-Bond!

Always an oldie but a goodie.
A Tri-bond is a word puzzle where three words are posted which are all linked by a common word, e.g:
Roll
Note
Blood
The answer here would be "Bank" - Bank Roll, Bank Note, Blood Bank. Slightly more abstract clues can also be used to increase the difficulty of the Tri-Bond, such as referring to phrases or idioms.
If you post the correct answer, you now have control of the feather and must post a Tri-Bond of your own. You can pass up your turn by saying "Jump Feather" and then the thread is open to whoever posts a new one first.

I'm going out on a limb and say correct-although I wonder if the person who posed the puzzle is supposed to say correct.
Forgive me/correct me if I'm wrong.
LadyGan-you have the feather.

Yep thats the right answer.
Technically the person who set the tri-bond should confirm before the thread proceeds but thats usually if theres any ambiguity, but this one was pretty straight forward, and a manager or facilitator could make the call anyway to keep the thread going smoothly.

Gonna move this to the new sub-forum that I created. This is to keep the games separate, so that they don't drown out the riddles.
'Twas Brice's idea, and was a damn good one at that.

Don't worry, this game is generally quite slow :D
