IS THERE A STAND ALONE PAPERBACK U.K. EDITION?

Were they both available on release date?

As far as I know NO & They do have different ISBN #s

also note SIZE difference of the books (This is a side by side scan)

I assume the one on the left is the UK edition? Why the price difference for the US between the two?

Bruce, just so i understand--the one on the right above is the US edition first printing, with an ISBN of 9781781162644, while the UK edition has an ISBN of 9781781167694, correct? the copy I picked up at B&N when it first came out has the ISBN ending in 644, so I have to assume it's the US edition.

As far a I know there were no differences between the US and UK edition. Just one global first edition.

Then why the two different ISBNs? Is the one ending in 694 the mass-market paperback? I'm confused.

I may have answered my own question. The one ending in 694 and with the verbiage on the front cover stating the #1 New York Times Bestseller appears to be the mass-market paperback according to the listings on Amazon.
