Each volume had a decidedly different dustjacket, both front and back. Production bumped to 1,500 copies.
The culmination of over 20 years in writing, King's opus concludes in a manner thought fitting by most, but befuddling to some.
A Whopping 5,000 artist editions, signed only by Whelan were produced. Faced with the daunting task of signing (after the 1,500 S/L pages) over 5,000 signature sheets, Whelan doodled on a least 100, possibly 500 sheets. In addition, Whelan also sold from his own website at least 19 books that featured an incredible full page+ original pencil sketch remarque!
