Never Read
King is king of the short story, plain and simple!
I gave it a 5. I love King's short stories.
"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard
"You needn't die happy when your day comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from beginning to end and ka is always served." ~ Roland Deschain
I thought this one was pretty good.
The kindness of close friends is like a warm blanket
I have always thought this was King's weakest collection. After readin Just After Sunset, my opinion is unchanged. Some of the stories were great, but some of them were just ok at best. This one gets a 3 from me.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.

I gave it a 3 for the simple fact that I read it, but nothing about it sticks out in my mind.
the story that got me was The 10 O'clock People...struck a cord with me at the time cuz i was trying to quit smoking as well...lol...didn't work after that...been trying to quit for a while though...but it goes to show you that it makes you think was that real or was that just smoke in your eyes???
Does whatever a spiderman does.
short stories get me everytime. a 5 for sure.

Bears are not very fond of King's short stories. Loved Popsy and Crouch End, though.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I probably read as many short story collections as I do novels. I feel King is one of the best short story writers alive...and quite possibly ever.
Hard to vote on this one - it's been years.
Gave it a 3 eventually.
4. Lot of good short stories, but no King collection of shorts will ever be a 5 to me.
A 4 for me. The only ones that I really loved were "The End of the Whole Mess" and "Suffer the Little Children."
The ratio of stories I liked to the ones I thought were okay isn't too high.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”-Mark Twain
Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me....Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.
-Shel Silverstein
I actually only read a few of these, so I probably should've voted "Never Read". It seems like I liked the ones I did read, though.
Have you heard of people with short fuses? Well, I have no fuse at all, and there's a thousand could testify to it if I hadn't stilled their tongues for good.

I gave this a three. Some of these stories stuck with me, but most did not. Average.
