Was in a hurry when I wrote this earlier. Now that I read it....seems a bit rude and demanding. If anyone has any thoughts on the value of this 2004 anthology from CD, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, there isn't much of a demand for that one. Issue price was $750, and I'd say that is the current value.

Am I right in saying there are only 50?
Does anyone have one for sale? If so, what is your asking price?

There were only 50. I have one, but I'm really not motivated to sell it.

What do you all think are market values of the three proofs of Cemetery Dance’s THE DARK MAN?

I have all three, but the Catalog has better photos. For reference:

Thank you. I guess it’s the in-house proof that I’d most like a value range. It doesn’t sound like one of those ten were part of the Betts listing.

Any idea of what a complete run of Castle Rock Newsletters goes for these days? All in amazing condition EXCEPT folded in half like newspapers usually are.

Guess I should also get thoughts on value of Carrie 1st/1st in NM condition flat signed one week after publication on 4-12-74. (I have never seen an earlier NON inscribed signature on any King book b/c only family/friends/special requests bothered to ask back then I would assume.)

    Thanks for any insight.

If I'm not mistaken, someone offered a set on a Facebook group some months ago, starting at $350. Eventually he dropped the price to $250, which was as low as he would go. I think they sold at that price.

Here's one on ebay for $474.99, don't know if that's a complete set.

    Hope this helps.

I don't know current market value on items, but I did recently purchase a xmas card.
I paid $50, $75 and $100 for Christmas cards. only one had the envelope. If you are selling I am interested!

I paid $200 for a flatsigned faithful and $200 for an inscribed faithful. NOT much love for those I am afraid!

From Peter Schneider, who designed "The Stand" Limited Edition

Our original design for THE STAND was for plaques made out of brass to be affixed to the front of the box. After the many months of production, and our approving all the materials, the final finished books-in-boxes showed up. In fact, every one of the 1,302 books were delivered to our management offices at 666 Fifth Avenue, NYC rather than our distribution center in Des Plaines, IL. So, every empty office on the floor was crammed floor to ceiling with these massive books.

I was, of course, eager to see the final assembled product. So I grabbed a box and opened it, then stared at it in dismay. The brass plaque, so bright and shiny when I approved it, was now afflicted with the "creeping crud." In short, there was oxidation showing up around all the edges of the plaque. I started feverishly opening other boxes, only to find the same situation.

It turns out that even the normal moisture in the air was enough to start the oxidation reacting on the plaques. So, we went back to our supplier and told them that we needed replacements for the whole print run. They came up with the final plaques -- brass, plated with black enamel, and the letters scored through to show up in brass. We then had to send all the books back to them for replacements (which they paid for, of course).

When they sent the re-plaqued books back, they also sent me all the original brass plates that they had removed from the boxes. I still have most of these, though I've sent a few out to various people over the years. That must be the source for your original brass plaque.
As it turns out, I have two of the original brass plates, which Peter sent to me many moons ago. They do have a tarnished look about them. They still have the original Scotch-brand paper over the adhesive on the back, so these must never have been used.

Any idea what they'd be worth? I have no use for them, had all but forgotten I had them.

Based only on a quick perusal of ABE and Ebay (for what that is worth, and please wait for more opinions) the most common, reasonable value puts Faithful in the $175 to $225 range. Double signed goes for a bit more. As we know, many King fans are willing to pass on this title because they dislike the Sox so much! The sellers may believe they will get a bit more because of the Sox taking the World Series this year.

I'm bumping for more feedback please. Before I make offers on these I'd like to go in with some intel to show. The listings are local and not from collectors who understand the market. Any input is appreciated.
    Thank you!
Well, not sure if it is specifically about the Sox or not, but rather that it is a non-fiction book about baseball which is not horror based. Also it is co-authored. Just saying I don't think it would be any more or less popular if you substituted the Sox with any other baseball team. (Ok, Bill would probably think this is Kings best book if it was about the 2000 Yankees LOL).

I read it because I felt compelled to (so I can say I read all his published novels). I liked it even though not much into non-fiction and not a Sox fan (but not a hater either). Although I liked it, would never read again.

Trying to find the value of Green Mile (PT1) oversize signed manuscript. This is one of six competition prizes. Never seen one for sale. Any help?
