    You guys... don't hate me, but...

    I finally tried to watch Blade Runner this past weekend, but honestly I kept dozing off. Finally me and my boyfriend were just too tired to finish it, we have maybe 30min left, but I don't think I'll ever go back and finish it. And it was probably not even 9:30 on a friday night

    I did like the atmosphere and visuals, but the story was just not keeping my attention at all.

    Yeah I don't think the story is all that engrossing. It's more of an experience, at least for me.

    The story is kind of ho-hum, the real power is in its symbolism and existentialism, its visuals. Also keep in mind that this film essentially created the blueprint for all cyberpunk fare to follow, and even things like The Dark Knight wouldn't exist as we know it without this film. Its enduring influence is undeniable.
