Got mine yesterday! Wasn't going to wait the 13 days as A. I have no patience. and B. Short summers mean less t-shirt time so gotta wear it while I can!
    Like the design a lot.
Glad you like it. I'm excited to see what they look like. I think the shirts we ordered for the office are arriving on Monday.

This is a collection that took me more than twenty years to put together, so I'm thrilled it'll see print via a beautiful edition from PS Publishing!

CD will be carrying copies soon, of course, but if you're in the UK or you just like ordering from Pete, it would be awesome if he saw a few orders today to reassure him he made the right decision to publish the book!

I'll make sure to order one when available through CD!

Does anyone have an idea of what CD's Gift Edition of It has been actually selling for lately? I've seen some listed at nearly $1,000, but I'm curious as to what they've actually been changing hands for. I used to see them listed for $450 - $500, but it seems to have drifted up.

(Note: I'm not seeking an offer; I'm not prepared to spend the money yet, but harbor hopes of one day doing so).

I sold mine back in February for $700. (I sold off most of the Gift Editions that I now have S/L of)
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

    Hey Brian!
I just ordered the Friday the 13th sampler yesterday - cool idea. Any chance you could throw some SK stuff in there for a member of the forum?? Ha! Seriously though, looking forward to the sampler. Always love grab bags. Anyone else on here order?

I got one. I'm a sucker for this stuff. It's almost like a present to myself since I don't know what's in it. It's like a box of chocolates, "You never know what you're going to get."

I was thinking we should ask SK to hand-deliver one lucky collector's sampler pack, but apparently there's some silly rule at work that says I'm not supposed to ask Stephen King to be a delivery boy!

Yes!! Like opening a fresh pack of baseball cards back in the day. I'm excited because, probably like many of us, 90% of my book budget is currently in preorders...that won't come out for several weeks or more. Will be nice to get a little Christmas-in-July package.

Well, what an obscure rule. I'm sure he wouldn't mind flying across the country for the chance.
Seriously though, looking forward to the sampler. Thanks for the great deal.

So my PM didn't get through? That's a relief. No need to apologise then.

Great news on Flight or Fright! Of course I ordered the gift edition so it will be awhile...which brings me to the question of an ebook. Will that also be released early or will that be in Sept?

P.S. Congrats on the book Brian! Looking forward to it!

For those who didn't see the FLIGHT OR FRIGHT update yet, here it is:

We have some excellent news for collectors who ordered the trade hardcover. The book is already headed for a second printing and the pub date isn’t until September 4th! If you’ve already ordered directly from us, you are guaranteed a First Printing, First Edition. Orders placed after this point may end up receiving second printings.

In addition, as our way of saying THANK YOU for ordering directly from us, we’ll begin shipping all of the direct preorders of the trade hardcover edition we have as of today in *mid-August,* two weeks before the official pub date. That means you’ll be able to read this book before any other readers in the world!

Finally, we can now share some production news on the Gift Edition and Lettered Edition for the collectors who selected those editions, which will see print next year for reasons that will become apparent with this update:

We're upgrading the book’s design to TWO COLOR interior printing on a larger trim size, which wasn’t promised originally.

We’re also thrilled to report that while we originally planned on six or seven exclusive illustrations from Cortney Skinner that won’t appear in the trade hardcover edition, he's been working day and night to deliver 17 (!) pieces of artwork instead, one for each story!

Also, as we have mentioned before, the Lettered Edition will be housed in a custom-made box unlike anything we've ever produced for ANY book ever before. In fact, it's been a very long time since any publisher has attempted this style of case for a Stephen King book. We'll let you know how things work out!

PLEASE NOTE: if you ordered the Gift Edition or Lettered Edition, your order is already locked in and there will be NO price increase for these additional special features.

Thank you, as always, for your continuing support and patience!

Here is this week's production update on GWENDY'S BUTTON BOX from Lonely Road Books for anyone who missed it:

“The signed Limited Edition and Lettered Edition of Gwendy’s Button Box are in the warehouse and the cases are rolling through production. Due to the intensive amount of hand-labor required, they should be completed in late August or early September. Photos of the books are posted on the Photos and Artwork page!”

Here is that link for the photos:
