This is a tough one. Both huge favorites.
Very tough decision. I'm thinking for a re-read I will have to choose Different Seasons...but I love TGM so very much.

I haven't read Different Seasons yet but DAMN! If it's SLAYING The Green Mile like it is so far, I'll be buying it this weekend. These polls are actually pretty helpful in that regard.

I've only read The Green Mile once and didn't particularly care for it. However, I've read Different Seasons many, many times. Specifically, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption is one of my favorite pieces to revisit before and after the masterful film.

Loved them both but Different Seasons is the winner. Definitely in my top 5.
People are always talking about truth.Everybody knows what the truth is,like it was toilet paper or somethin...All there is is bull*...One layer of bullshit on top of another...what you do in life...pick the layer of bull* that you prefer...

Sorry, novellas / short story collections have never been my forte.
I guess I can make an exception though.
I can understand the short stories. I'm more a novel person as well. But these are some of his best stories, even if they're technically novellas. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

My copy of DS is very well worn. 4 captivating tales in one book.

Damn, this is a difficult choice... One of my earliest SK books takes this one. DIFFERENT SEASONS.
You absolutely should. This is some of his best writing.Sorry, novellas / short story collections have never been my forte.
