    Default Video Games

We have threads about illustrations, Serial Limited, Promotional stuff, even one with calendars (kind of)... what about video games?
there are several based upon King's works....

    1985 : The Mist (disks)
    PC

1989 : The Running Man (based upon the movie)
    Commodore 64 (K7 or CD)

1992 : The Dark Half (based upon the movie)
    PC (4 disks)

1993 : The Lawnmower Man (based upon the movie)
    PC (1 CD-ROM)
consoles (3DO, Gameboy, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis)

1994 : Cyberwar ( (based upon the movie: The Lawnmower Man)
    PC (3 CD-ROM + 1 CD Audio)

    1999 : F 13 (Stephen KING’s F13)
    PC (1 CD-ROM)

    Anything else?
Basically we can see that most of them are related to the movies...

Eh, I bet King would disavow any relationship with that Lawnmower Man game!

Herbert, I don't think you're missing any in that list--I think you've got them all. I myself only have the F13 CD. (I really like the screensavers on it!)

there's a level for Duke Nukem 3D Atomic edition that it's called "The shining". It takes place in the overlook hotel and you enter room 217.

    Pretty cool!
I think I still have it somewhere.

Interesting. The version of The Dark Half PC game I have is different that the one posted. Mine came in the box shown below - it's about 2" deep. There's also an order form included that shows the original price was $59.95!! I vaguely remember playing it long ago - pretty lame if I recall correctly.

I only have F13 as King was vaguely involved with it - or maybe he wasn't, but he let them use his name.
