I get it. I was thinking every book was getting a slipcase. or no books would get a slipcase. But you are saying when you offer a book, that particular book gets a slipcase or it doesn't.
I prefer all books with King titles/stories get a slipcase. My personal preference.
So close ... Sleeping Beauties was supposed to arrive today but now delayed due to "Emergency Situation or Severe Weather" via UPS ...
Mine was "delivered" UPS sent me a text saying delivered. I turn around and look out my window at the door and there was no truck and no package. Login to the system and it says it was delivered a half hour ago. Once again, been in my office right by the front door all day. No one has come on the porch nor delivered anything yet today. Call UPS and get the whole "we will call the driver and ask and give you a call back in an hour spiel and low and behold no call back ever. Yay now time to fight through a case to get my book.
Just got mine and as everyone has said, it is as nice as it is massive.
Nice job on Sleeping Beauties CD!
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.

Happened more than once to me with a UPS delivery (or a different story with a USPS delivery). I have a high definition security camera system. I can and have proved to UPS that their driver either mis- delivered (one or two houses away), or just plain lied about delivering the package. It's amazing the quick response I received when I called the actual local depot and spoke to a supervisor (not the worthless 800 number) and told them I have video evidence the driver actually mis-delivered, or hours of video to prove the truck never entered my cul-de-sac. Over the years the camera system has beeen worth its weight in gold.
Still waiting....I got two emails from CD saying my order shipped...one gives UPS tacking (goes nowhere) and second gives FedEx Ground tracking (2 numbers, both go nowhere).....I got nuthin'
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Bookcase/bookends problem solved in the best way possible. I was at our warehouse today for an inventory when the warehouse manager yells out, "Hey George, you need any bookcases?". They're getting rid of a bunch of furniture and other items, and it's faster/easier/cheaper to donate them (schools/charities) or give them away than to do all the disposition paperwork and actions. So, after checking them out (pretty much brand new) and measuring, I'll be getting not one, not two, but SEVEN bookcases, all gratis; it'll only cost me the price of a U-Haul for a couple of hours. That'll be five to replace my four older ones (these are shorter at 60" vs 72" but wider at 36" vs 29", so an additional 140" of shelf space), one for my daughter's room, and one nice big empty one for King.
Problem solved!

Hi David, I replied to your email, but as I've said many times, those notices get sent when the labels get printed, not when the books actually ship. Shipping these is always a slow process and takes time. I hope to be done shipping all of these by the end of the week, but it may drag into Monday.

Problem solved!I know, right? Timing literally couldn't have been any better with the new SB coming in. This might be the weekend to push my luck and hit estate sales with an eye out for that overlooked gem.Nice score, George! The book gods were looking out for ya.

My sleeping beauties arrived today, no 67.
Very impressive. Will have a better look when the 2 year old is safely tucked up in bed
Hi Brian, Dan,
I was going through my list of orders, to see what is still outstanding. I found one item I don't recall receiving, and don't think I have heard anything in regards to it. In Jan 2017 you offered "The Cemetery Dance Collectors Set #3" which was 3 signed limited edition hardcovers. Has this shipped? The code on the order confirmation is X_CDEX2017
Thanks,
Mike

Four Shadows (Cemetery Dance Exclusive Collectors Set #3):
The third book for the Cemetery Dance Collectors Set #3 has been changed because the author for the book we wanted to use hasn't been able to finish the manuscript, and we want to keep the set moving. Luckily, we had another book coming along on our list that was meant to be used in some kind of deal or promotion (we hadn't decided what yet) and we were able to slide it over to be the 3rd book in this set. The new book includes four novellas by five terrific authors (one of the novellas is a collaboration) and all of the authors are signing the signature sheets.
Halloween Carnival edited by Brian James Freeman (Cemetery Dance Exclusive Collectors Set #3):
This book has turned into a whopper at 536 oversized pages and proofreading has begun. With a book this size, we usually aim for 6 to 7 proofreaders taking a look to be sure it is clean.
Killer Crimes edited by Richard Chizmar and Brian James Freeman (Cemetery Dance Exclusive Collectors Set #3):
This book is just about finished with the proofreading stage and we expect to have it printer-ready in 2019.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Thanks Brian and Dan, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss it, as this was one of those things I had forgotten I ordered, so any updates you gave in the past probably got ignored by me (although now, I seem to recall the update given above).

No Sleeping Beauties notifications for me as yet either.
Just got home from a few days of business travel and found a big box from Cemetery Dance. Looking forward to opening it after I get settled.

[QUOTE=Brian861;1150651] Hopefully it gets revolved soon, Josh in and a favorable matter.
Well fun update is my neighbor 8 doors down knocked on my door with the elusive missing package... So glad UPS called me back about the package they lost... oh wait they never did. Thank goodness for honest people.
Eight doors down? That's practically in your lap! I pretty routinely get mail for addresses blocks away, streets I've never heard of, but that has been all USPS ... no issues yet with UPS or FedEx.Well fun update is my neighbor 8 doors down knocked on my door with the elusive missing package... Speaking of that, my FedEx shipping notification just arrived ... scheduled for delivery on Monday!
