Good question, not sure what they’ve been selling for lately. I’d say at least 2K. That was the last price I heard one sold for, but that was quite a while ago, before IT got released, maybe even before Firestarter was shipped.
That one was signed by King if I remember correctly... was a member here and they did it through Winters.... no?
Hmmmm, I remember the Winters auction for the signed copy, but I was thinking of a sale after that. I don’t remember the details, though. If I get a chance this weekend, I’ll poke around and see if I can drudge something up about it.
There was a Firestarter that went for 2k unsigned I am aware of but no Eyes... other than the signed one from Winters. I would say $900-1100 for Eyes is the going rate. Def not $2k...
A grand would be a bargain for the flagship Dragon Rebound book, IMO. Leto, if you’re selling yours for that price, send me a PM.
    Looking for:
    - Philtrum Press Eyes of the Dragon RED #165
    - Fine Viking Eyes of the Dragon proof

Just wondering, since it's been awhile I didnt see any passing by, so the fad had faded away.
Charlie the choo choo, sdcc signed copies. What would roughly be the value those days?

On ebay I can find for roughly a grand a set with one (unsigned) copy.
And how many copies were signed in the end at sdcc?

What is the current market price for a July 1981 copy of F&SF magazine?

The copy I'm looking at is VG or VG+, I would say. The back cover has a crease across one corner, the subscriber's sticker is still affixed, and the page edges are a bit yellow from age. Other than that, I don't see any defects other than some minor shelfwear. None of the pages has been folded or torn; the spine has no creases or sun fading.

This isn't directly SK, but I was wondering what market $ was on "The Art Of Wrightson, Vol. 1". 1st Ed., stated as "Like New" by non-collector friend. Here are the pictures of it that I have. Bottom on the spine has some creases or is lightly bumped, but these might be common as part of the production(?) perhaps. I think it seems like a beautiful book of Wrightson art and hoping that I'm getting a good deal on it ($40)! Anyone have some recent information/opinion on this book? Thanks so much!

When you are talking values <=$50, it almost doesn't matter. I know $25, or $75 means a lot to many people, but almost any estimate in that range is both right, and wrong. Percentage wise, $25 is a lot but overall for items worth less than $100, it's nominal.

I do not know the market value for this item. However by looking at the usual suspects (Abe, Ebay, and Amazon) I saw price points from $40-$80 for the book. I did not look or search for 1st edition or any other parameters. That doesn't really tell you the value but it shows the asking/market price on the book which for me would get me close to comfortable with the below listed purchase price.

    Good luck!

I have no personal knowledge about this book.

There doesn't appear to be anything but the first printing.

I see them listed as "Very Good" for $20 and up. The first "As New" is ~$74.

The one you're showing is Very Good.

    $40 seems fair.

You might do better, but you'll have to do your homework. I'd buy it from a friend for $40.

Hi all, I recently purchased one of George Beahm's copies of the Suntup Misery gift edition. At $175, I got the impression that these were a bargain compared to some of the recent sales I saw on eBay ($240-250). What do you guys think this book will settle at in the future? Looking for guesstimates.

CD gift editions go for ~150 depending on the book. I would say this one should settle around $225. That said if everyone buys it up that wants one and there is still demand then the price might go up. This is one of the most beautiful gift editions I have seen in quite some time. To me it's worth as much as 'Salem's Lot gift ($300)

I agree that $175 is a bargain as far as aftermarket. I paid a slightly higher price but I don't see these ever dipping below $175 in F/F/F condition.

I think it will settle around $200, maybe $225 for a F/F/F copy.

A comparable edition would be CD's From a Buick 8, which you can find for $175-$200. Suntup's Misery has fewer copies, and is a more popular novel, so that makes it more desirable.
