Paul, have you thought of doing an art portfolio of multiple books? Like ‘The art of Suntup Editions’ or something like that that combines the illustrations from a few books, including Rosemary’s Baby? That would be cool for the titles that have only a few pieces of artwork apiece.

That letterpress video is crazy. I didn’t realize each sheet needs to be hand fed into the machine, so labor intensive and hands on. And the precision the machine seems to exhibit is pretty amazing. I wonder how many sheets print funny or don’t have enough ink and need to be redone.

Nope, haven't considered that. Cool idea, but probably not on the cards in the near future. It would be too time consuming to put together and the focus is on the books right now. Maybe after we've had a lot more books out it's something to consider.

Regarding the printing of the Wells books, yes we decided to use the Vandercook, which as you can see is all hand-fed. It will have taken about 6 weeks of printing this every day to complete one book. Have to keep in mind that both sides of the paper need to get fed through, and then you have the red spot color on the title page which is another pass through. Changing out the plates, making sure they are registered correctly, etc. It's a massive job.

Not sure on how much is added for waste, but we do include extra sheets to account for that sort of thing.

I was on vacation and could not check. I just want to say that I am blown away by getting that advanced numbered copy. I mean really, I was so shocked. I just could not believe it. This is one of
the only things I ever won in my life and it's ranks up there with the being one of the best. I should be getting RB on Fri and I also so excited for that. Plus I ordered the book package.
Next year should be quite the Suntup year.

I am not sure if you can still buy the package deal for the H.G Wells collection. But there are
37 left of Time Machine numbered
1 left of the RN Time Machine
131 of Brother (not sure if you can buy more than one)
and 29 of the numbered IAL (again not sure if you can order more than one)

So all of the H.G Wells collection looks like it will have a RN ed. I can't find it now, but I think I saw it somewhere on the site.
EDIT: I found where it said that. At the bottom right under the red button to order the complete collection. So they will all have RN edition. Impressive.

I'm curious about the "no more than 5" roman numeral limitation. How will it be determined? And when it is determined for The Time Machine (the first in the set), will that limitation hold for the remaining two books, or will those limitations be determined separately? (Just curious; obviously I'm not picking one up).

It will be determined by the number of orders received. I will take orders for no more than 5. Currently 4 have sold. Whatever the final limitation ends up being, that will be the same limitation for the other two books.
