anyone know if Austin is sold out yet?
question... anyone here from the UK...that is planning to pick up the UK editions...that would be willing to try to get me (and ship me) a copy of each of the four covers?
I would of course reimburse you the cost and extra for your efforts.
I've pre-ordered two from the UK amazon... but that's a crap shoot, and I'm guessing with my luck, they'll turn up with the same exact cover design.
Confirmations continue to go out today.

SOLD OUT Sleeping Beauties Friday October 6th @ 6:30 PM · Sarasota, FL
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT! All Reservations have been Confirmed. If you did not get a confirmation, please accept our sincere apologies. The Confirmations were delivered in the order they were received.
“In every grain of wheat there lies hidden the soul of a star.”
Oh well, can't win them all. There is (imo) something quirky how they were received, but sending or receiving hundreds if not 1,000 's of emails is not an exact science. Bummed.
I am sorry to all who didn't get in.

Thanks
I'm the rarity that doesn't like to use Facebook.
Both my friend and I tried in hopes one of us got to finally see him but neither was successful.
Guess living in Sarasota doesn't help your chances to see him when he comes to Sarasota.
So disappointed in how this was offered.

Without sounding rude... your only dissatisfied with how it was offered because you didn't get tickets. I'm really not sure how they could have sold them to appease everyone. One chap on Facebook said they got over 4000 emails! I am sure many were people trying to get multiple tickets though. The thing I didn't agree with was only getting one ticket. Made for a nail bitter when the wife got in and I still had not. Should have been two as you always travel with a guest. Sorry you didn't get one either way though.

I thought it was ridiculous from the start even if I had gotten tickets.
Why not offer the people that live here a chance to purchase the tickets like every other stop on the tour.
Some of us can't afford to travel out of state for a book signing so when the opportunity comes to see them in your home town and it's taken by those people it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Oh well. You win some you lose some.
But glad you and your wife got tickets.
