We could do TV genres and earlier I also offered a tournament for the best show since 2000 (which is kinda where the current golden age of television began, with The Sopranos), but doing TV intros could be a different type of tournament as we've done movie genres, and I do want to do more eventually.
Pass.
Hey, why is no one talking about doctor who?
Friends,
You might question my sanity after I say this, but it need be said nonetheless: I had just watched the entire season one of Van Helsing in two days. It's no doubt true most of us still have a Van Helsing (the movie) related PTSD, but this show is great. It's like The Strain meets TWD sans the shitty CGI headshots and terrible decisions. People are getting killed off non-stop and no one's safe. Characters are all unique, well-rounded and some even have a dark secret or two.
I thought this was going to be terrible but it really wasn't.
I question your sanity lol. It is nothing like "The Strain." The budget is super low, bad acting, terrible fight scenes worse then "Arrow," and for me a terrible interpretation of vampires. The SCFY channel needs to be cancelled. Their shows are just awful. I watched two episodes and will never go back.

The Strain - vampires are taking over the world.
Van Helsing - vampires are taking over the world.
On the rest of the stuff we can disagree on. I'll just say that everyone has an agenda and characters you start rooting for don't really make it far.
I'm curious how are these vampires a bad interpretation?
Anyone watching Gypsy on Netflix? It's slow in that not a lot of stuff "happens," but it's never boring and Naomi Watts gives a great performance. It also helps the pace of the show that we rarely leave Jean's side. My only real complaint with it is that is doesn't seem incredibly innovative. There's been tons of shows where the main character has a secret/double life (Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, etc.), but those shows have always done something with it. Gypsy seems to think that Jean's merely having a secret life is enough. It would be nice to know some of the whys behind it. I know answers must be coming, but it's taking a little too long to get there.

Just started watching it yesterday. It's okay. Will see how far I get.
The Mist is dreadful television. It makes Under the Dome look like quality TV.
There are so many King properties in the works that I'm getting a little worried about the quality control. I feel like there should be a few people that work on behalf of King that make sure they aren't fucking it up.

I was looking forward to Mr. Mercedes then I saw it was on a channel called Audience Network. I have hundreds of channels and I don't have it.
