The keyring went for £10.50. I only paid £9.49 for the book and the keyring.
I got my Duma Key at Tesco's in the end, it was £10 there.
But I have a friend at Waterstones - there might be a spare keyring if any customers have said they don't want theirs - if I can get one I'll do a giveaway...stay tuned
Keeping my fingers crossed!

I've got one coming, although I'm sure I paid too much for it. Oh, well.

Well the thing is that I am working tomorrow, and i cannot go at 1hour away by bus to do so...
I will ask to my girl to use her innocent & sad face, just like shnnrc01... :p (on her way back from glasgow.. but may be quite late... erf)
and if they dont want to.. well, she could buy a copy.. if they still have some..
I was supposed to get my copy of Duma Key in advance of the release date, but the damned ebay seller failed to use Priority Mail! It came on the 24th (I managed to resist the temptation, when it wasn't in the mail for those two days, to walk the five blocks to the local bookstore and pick one up on either the 22nd or 23rd just so I could get started), at long last. Had it still not come on Thursday, I probably would've walked to the bookstore and picked up another copy!
But it was worth the wait, at least so far. Normally, I would've finished a new King novel of this length by now, but what with the altered circumstances in my house- I'm still taking care of my roommate, who is recovering from a broken hip- this one's progressing rather slowly. I'm on page 174 at the moment, and so far I love it! This may prove to be the best novel he's written in a few years- since finishing the Dark Tower, anyway. It may prove to be a good thing that I can't just zip through it in two days this time, that circumstances are forcing me to take it at a more relaxed pace; the end always comes too soon anyway.
The worst part of reading a new King book, whether it's a novel, a collection or non-fiction, is always finishing it, knowing that it will be some time before the next one! At least this year there's only February standing in between this one and The Long Road Home, and that there will hopefully not be a long wait between the end of that and the new collection, or the publication of the Grant Revised Gunslinger/Little Sisters of Eluria combo at least. This is truly the year for all things King!

I picked my copy up yesterday and started reading last night. The next thing I knew I was about 100 pages in and didn't want to stop! I'm loving it so far.
excerpt from NY Times Review:
Full review (Mild spoilers).....
But Mr. King’s use of horror is not what it used to be. It may still be the impetus for his stories, but it is no longer the foremost reason they’re interesting. Sure, he can still use supernatural effects to scare the wits out of you. But lately he also shows off other interests. In the wake of the 1999 roadside accident that permanently altered his consciousness, he has turned the evanescence of health and sanity into his books’ most disturbing source of fear.
