11pm on a Friday night, weekend has begun and so has the first bottle of Red!
Will she be back today, Tom?
I'm looking forward to spending the night with my girlfriend and no less than four other ladies and dinner & wine. No guys except me. Only a couple more hours to go!
Hah! Not sure about that... but I've known all four of them for more than 15-20 years (my girlfriend is the 'new kid on the block' in this bunch) so I guess I'll be okay.
Getting back on topic again, I received the unsigned ONE FOR THE ROAD earlier this week. Got it for about £40 and I must say I really like it!

Yes, it's a tiny thing (smaller than I expected at least) but it's a nice production with lots of cool illustrations. Not sure if I would have paid the retail price of £75 but this was an okay price, especially since shipping from the UK to The Netherlands is cheap.
For a lot of the various covers, check out:

It hasn't been kept up-to-date, but...

The little AB Bookman's Weekly copy is a nice Quirky King item (as Jerome would say). That's the one with the early article on collecting King, isn't it? Looks better than mine! And I like the Phantasmagoria issues, that's a set I still need to complete (I'm about halfway I think).
I thought it was American Bookseller with A Pilgrim's Progress (an early non-fiction piece by King).
No, it is an article written by Peter Schneider in the early 1980's. I actually went to a library (in 1982, I think), found the article on microfilm (or maybe microfiche) and copied it to read it. It was the very first article of its kind on collecting Stephen King and I read it and reread it several times. It really got me started.
I have the magazine with "A Pilgrim's Progress" in it and can post a picture later if you would like to see it.
I have A Pilgrim's Progress as scans but would like to see the cover.
Just opened this today:

Beautiful! I saw the pics in the catalog, also.

The darn thing is almost as big as Knowing Darkness. It doesn't fit on any of my shelves.
RF, I think I have a spot to hold it for you...

John, thanks for the website. I have a foreign website saved that is the same thing, but it's kinda hard to read.I love the different covers. That's why I think I will place the books in order by book, instead of type of subcollection (first edition, proof, signed limited) ... Like, right now, I have The Dark Half first edition, The Dark Half proof, and a Dark Half paperback all next to each other. It doesn't look the best, but when I have twenty different ones, it will.
