sorry, i can't even hear the word BraveHeart without laughing. IT was a joke a teacher of mine made. He's Russian too. He like braveHeart too. are you sure you're not a teacher at my school, Jean?
If I wasn't sure no school would hire anyone like me, I might have started doubting now... I can sure think of a number of jokes...

The answer is within
all matter is energy, all energy is GOD
Nice to see Rebel keeping up with the more contemporary titles.

I love love love Monty Python, but I am way burned out on Holy Grail. The only Python movie I can really get into anymore is Life of Brian. It's mostly just the good ol' TV show for me these days.
Kill Bill got my vote.
you're solid gold // i'll see you in hell
I love Python as well, and can never see Holy Grail too many times, though I do love Life of Brian more. That said, I still voted for Kill Bill. I can't see that too many times either.
It's just a flesh wound!
Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.
a flesh wound? you're arm's off!
Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
quiet Dave!
it's dennis.
Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.
well i didn't know your name, i couldn't just call you "man"
There are some who call me... Tim.

What do you mean, an African or European Swallow?

Braveheart isn't in 1st place....
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. - Edgar Allan Poe
Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity. - H.P. Lovecraft
oh no, another one of my favorite classics is up against one of my favorite Tarantino films again.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
It's a shame. I love Python with all my heart, but they don't really make movies, and we're voting Best film, not the best satire or spoof, not even who is the wittiest or cleverest. From the point of view of the art of cinema, Braveheart is tops (with only a very few Hollywood-ish slips)

Braveheart would be favored by the academy, yes, but that by no means negates the value or validity of satire as a movie type. I pondered Braveheart, as I did enjoy it when I watched it, but then I realized I didn't care if I ever watched it again*. So I decided that I found it beautiful, but not enduring.
*Also, subsequent developments with Mel Gibson have tainted all his films a bit for me. The more serious the film, the worse it has been tainted.

I voted Monty Python because, to me, it's the best movie in this bracket. I'm not voting for what may be the best movie for others, or the academy, or the best movie in a galaxy far far away.
Girlystevedaves like the Monty Python.
