Awesome Remarque!
Awesome Remarque!
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
I found this post from Brian on the Cemetery Dance forum:
Do you have a timeline for the announcement, Brian? A week, a month, two months? The next one will be numbered, and the print run will be set the same way as REVIVAL. It's also the first of several books with this particular author, and his subsequent books will have the same print run.
The lettered Revival is gorgeous!

Found a box sitting in the snow on my porch tonight, luckily it wasn't there too long! Love the embossed covers Brian (my daughter does too, it was "Ooo, that's cool"), layout, artwork, even the ribbed spine ... nicely done!
WANT LIST: Any SK #186; Dark Man Unbound 1st Proof; FDNS Unbound 1st Proof; FDNS Black Tape Spine Proof; FDNS Unbound Color Proof
I must add my praises for REVIVAL.
It smells good.
Love the artwork.
Love the die-cut look.
Love the extra features by Josh Boone, Bev Vincent and Vincent Chong.
Loved the interview where I learned the book of his King likes the most I hate the most, we agree on BREAKING BAD, have opposing political views and love rock 'n roll (although I already knew most of that). It's all GOOD!
Love the slipcase!
Brian, you have OUTDONE yourself!!!
My only disappointment is that I didn't get a Patreon box, but maybe someone will sell me one someday.

I prefer USPS because:
1) It can be put in secure location
a) small boxes can fit in locked mailbox
b) medium sized boxes can fit in locked locker near mailbox
c) my carrier will place large boxes behind pillar and will ring doorbell before walking off (so I am sure to be aware it is there)
2) have more control on delivery options if out of town
UPS tends to put it directly in front of door in plain sight of porch pirates, and never rings the door bell. Its a miracle I have never lost a package. FEDEX is difficult to make delivery changes.

Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Really beautiful work! Congrats, David.

The word "remarque" does not do that justice. Very nice!
Welcome man. There is only going to be 6 of these style Remarques.
They are airbrushed Remarques. They really are something to see and pics don’t do it justice.

I finally got my copy from PS Publishing today. It's awesome - except for that Vincent Chong illustration of the ant in the cake. That can fuck right off!

My favorite illustration is the one past page 415.
If the original ever came up for sale...woo-hoo!
