Not pretty by any stretch of the imagination but is it real?

You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
Even if genuine (and I have my doubts) the sticker on the bottom of the page really devalues it.

Look at post 367 in my thread. I know it's good because I got it from Betts.
Think it may be real. Fugly but real.
Definitely real...also agree that the JSA nonsense devalues it a bit
Late to the party- but real...
110% legit
When someone lists a book is, for example F/NF condition, is the F for the book, or for the dust jacket. What about the case where there is a slipcase or traycase, what is the order of the conditions?

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Is a WHSmith purple edition less more or less desirable if the sticker has been removed from the DJ?

It came with the sticker as published. I would say it should have the sticker. If not, it could be worth less, but that's subjective. Some people wouldn't care.
Personally, I remove the publisher's sticker, cover the jacket in a Brodart and place the sticker on the Brodart. That way it isn't on the jacket where it could potentially cause damage, but it's still present with the book.
