What season is it on?
We just finished season four. It wasn't as great as the first three. The show has always been a slow burn, but this season actually seemed to have filler/unnecessary parts.

Dark Matter on Netflix. Pretty good Sci-Fi / Action show.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
I haven't really heard anyone talk about it, but if you have Netflix, give Safe a shot. It stars Michael C. Hall (Dexter) as a father whose daughter has disappeared. It has a really well-played mystery that keeps you guessing. I'm not sure why, but I've heard no hype around this show whatsoever.

It’s GLOW time!
Wrapped up season 2 of Goliath. It was good but not great. It felt a little flat at the end. The pay off, I think, was meant to surprise and pull some emotions but it failed at that for me. Maybe I'm a robot or maybe the show gave away too much too soon for me.
I said it a while ago, but I want to say it again because of the recent Emmy nominations, but you guys have to check out Barry.

Is anybody watching Sharp Objects? It's a super slow burn, but I'm enjoying the character development and the show is full of great performances.

Just watched episode two the other night and agree with you. Super slow burn, but so is the book. I like the overall vibe and think it really matches. Amy Adams is a great Camille and Patricia Clarkson is the perfect Adora.
What about The Sinner? When Season 2 was announced last year, I was kind of disinterested since it was supposed to be a "limited event series," but this season (Ambrose with a new case) is fantastic. Only two episodes out so far, but if it keeps it up, it might end up being better than Season 1 (which I loved).

Sharp Objects is some dark, depressing shit... so naturally it's great. It does a fair job of portraying small town attitudes but are people in Missouri really that "southern?" We were laughing at how the guy in the Confederate flag shirt was in the background of every scene during the Calhoun Day party no matter which way they were facing. He must have gotten really tired running back and forth.
I was wondering the same thing. It is deliciously depressing though.
I also wanted to mention one of my favorite comedies on TV right now. I know I'm the only person watching and it will get cancelled, but I'm loving Trial and Error. If you love wacky comedies, give this one a shot.

Oh man, that's one of my favorite lines. I was shouting it as my mom was pulling out of the driveway the other day.

It pains me to admit that I'm struggling through Castle Rock.

Just signed up for the Hulu free trial yesterday, but Comcast doesn't support the TV app, I don't have Xbox or Chromcast or Apple TV (and I don't want to watch on my computer screen), so it looks like in out of luck.
