CCC is great. I like that it's super comfortable, not the formulaic "talk show guest" format. Just talking about comedy, random stuff, and coffee.
Can't wait for the new season (which will be on Netflix now).

Finished Helix S2. I'm a bit bummed out the show got cancelled, but at the same time things were getting silly and convoluted. Whoever decided to cancel the show did it out of mercy. Finally finished AHS S1 too. It was OK. It's something a co-worker of mine and I watch at work whenever we get the chance. It might take us a few years. I gave up on Black Lightning. I just couldn't punish myself any more.
I'm happy Jessica Jones and her jeans are back.
Sneaky Pete is one of the best shows on TV. Season 2 just dropped!

Magnum P.I.! Magnum and Higgins are bickering and I love it!
Did anybody watch Barry on HBO? I didn't see a lot of hype for this one and it kind of flew under my radar, but I had a blast with it. For those that don't know, Bill Hader writes, directs, produces and stars in the show and plays an ex-marine turned hitman who has become disillusioned with his profession and decides to try his hand at acting. The show mixes two things I love - hitmen and actors and the movie industry getting poked fun at.
Give it a look.

For April Fools I'm watching Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix. So funny! This is possibly even better than the first season. Each episode has multiple real laugh out loud moments. Awesome writing and acting. I'm shocked this series is not talked about more. It's one of the best comedies in years!
I'm two episodes into Season 2, but I don't think it's funnier than Season 1 yet.

Just tried watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Woof! Lasted maybe twenty minutes.

Burning through Season 2 of The Fosters on Netflix. What a great show. I know it's manipulative soap opera designed to make you cry but jeez it's so well done!
The Twilight Zone. First episode: Shatterday. Awesome.
Watching Channel Zero. Creepy stuff.
Lasted about 14 minutes into Shannara Chronicles. The CGI intro was corny enough but once I saw all the cutesy and precious elves it was time to GTFO.
Watching the final season of The Americans, and loving it.
As a HUGE fan of the original, I'm not sure what to think of this! It's totally different from the original in every way, but yet, it's still compelling to me. Today's TV world is a completely different animal. I especially like all the little references to the original show: the ring, the watch, the 308, Coops beer, the chopper, the Lads, the theme song. No moustache or short-shorts, but that's ok.

No Mustache? I'm out!
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
As you can tell from my avatar, I've been a big fan of this show for a while. I've championed it for years in my group of friends, with little success. It's a shame people have missed out. I blame some of it on FX. They make it impossible to find episodes after they air. I'm not sure why, but the show has never been on Netflix despite the fact that many FX shows appear on Netflix.
I thought last season was a little lacking, but this season is shaping up nicely.
