wants to sell his s/n Dark Tower set--#1 is #478, the others are all #145. Price is $8000.

Very nice jemaher! I wish you the best on getting the ones you're missing! (I have DTIII #395--one number off!)
John
I have #274 DT1, DT2-DT7 (missing DT3).
Also, Wiz...I have the Grant Numbers Wanted Page (which is no longer available on their website) saved as a Word document. I copied it a few years ago and put the #s in order from lowest to highest so it is easy to scan through. PM me if you would like a copy if it.
Wiz told me that he'll be gone for a few days without internet access. If you don't hear from him for a little while, don't worry!

I have a DT VII #649 and #1058 if that helps...
Do you only have DT s/l's? If you have other books (like Cujo, EotD, and others), let me know the numbers of those and maybe there will be something we can trade....I checked though, and I don't have matching numbers for non-DT books to any of your sets...sorry...
I collect all of kings books, but i only obsess on the dt. would love to trade or swap to get another same number complete set or two.
I own DTI #294 and DTII-VII #525. So, #294 is not complete.

Yes, Greg is a long-time DT fan and was on TDT.net from time to time.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
The set on heritage auctions went for 6K PLUS 22.5% I got the single copy dt1.
Congrats on the purchase.

Congratulations on winning the auction. Another member on this board, fsmdr, told me this and I believe it is true. If you register directly with Heritage Auctions and do your bidding on their site, rather than through eBay, the buyer's premium is 19.5%. You pay the higher premium of 22.5% if you go through eBay. Same auctions.
I've never bid with Heritage. Living in Texas I am also subject to sales tax if I were to win. It just seems like too many fees. Of course if something were listed I really wanted I would bid but would have to keep the extra fees in mind.
A correction.
I have DT2 & DT3 #227...not #207
jamaher2006 (ebay ID) now owns DT1 #207
DT2 #207 also sold at the same time, but went to a different buyer.
Rick-
Thanks for that. Sorry for the mistake. It is now fixed.

Congrats on your purchase, jemaher.

Yeah, 7500 is an awesome price for a same number set. it unfortunately slipped by before i could bid. i was prepared to bid to $10,000
Those online auctions occasionally have great deals. I picked up a first edition near mint Hunt for Red October for less than $330 including fees!
