It is not here yet. I contacted Waterstone's and they gave me an actual tracking number after first giving me one with nine "1"s. It's been going all over the place. The zip code was keyed in wrong by one number. It's currently somewhere near me but not here. The post office said it should show up... but at this point I'm not too confident that it will be in a "book shape".
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Update:
I did get a partial refund from Waterstones. They apologized and said Waterstones is looking into a different protocol to handle limited books and shipping to the US.

Would be easier for them to forbid foreign purchase on those titles !

The USPS says they see that the correct address is on the label but the tracking shows wrong zip code. They said someone keyed it in wrong somewhere along the line. I checked my order on Waterstone's website and the delivery address is correct, so could be customs or possibly Waterstone's fulfillment? Not sure.

My S/L just arrived. The box looked terrible and it had the wrong zip code. Luckily the book only had some rubbing on one of the slipcase corners... not perfect but better than expected.
On the other hand, just received VJ Books Owen signed UK copy and although it's a 1st print, mine does not have an animal stamp on the front boards. I've contacted them to see what can be done. I'm assuming printing error.

I'm wondering if anyone else has received a UK 1st printing that doesn't have an animal on the boards?

I went into Gerald's on Monday to buy a UK edition of Sleeping Beauties and he didn't have any with the animal stamp. He said retail versions do not have the stamp so I'm not sure what that means in the long run or which stores have and don't have it.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
