Gahhhhh! I'm jealous, Bev. I'm told I'm getting a "finished copy" of the book for review this time.

Very jealous, Bev. Congratulations
As my collection thread is no more, I thought I would post my newest P&J here.

A superb addition, Jon! And very nice, Bev!
Finally found a copy of the FDNS Unbound Third Proof. Still looking for an Unbound First, Unbound Color, and Black Tape Spine to complete the set.

Essentially because I had a chance, when they first started showing up on the market, of completing a set because I was able to acquire one of the 10 black galley proofs. Odds not so good now, however, as the Unbound Color and Black Tape are each only one known.Nice item ! Is there a specific reason why you are looking the versions of this book?

Recommendation for new listing ... Four Past Midnight with Sticker, as shown below. Looks like they were issued with and without, as seen on DOT3. Paul (Zelig) has also noted this variant on his proofs page. This one below isn't mine, its up on eBay right now.

Added to listing. Thanks, George!

Is it really a separate state, though? I've also seen Firestarter proofs (and many other proofs) with and without stickers... I don't recall the specifics of the orange DT2 proofs and what sets them apart as being 'true' separate states, but...
That's a good question. Consensus?
John
I agree with biomeg as it was the very first thing that crossed my mind.

I would say that technically, it isn't a separate state. It's the same proof but with a sticker on the front. The main reason I listed it on that proof site is for completeness and to be able to see what the sticker looked like.
I'm indifferent either way ... don't have either of them! But since we listed the DT2, why wouldn't we list this one? It was apparently published in at least these two "varieties" perhaps, versus states, I don't know. Some obviously don't and have never had the sticker, others have it. Same for the DT2 and apparently other titles as well. It's not like it's a little tiny sticker either, it's a big one. If you're a completist, would you want both types now that you know they exist? That should answer the question.
