Becca, did you like Pontypool? I extolled that movie pretty hard around here years ago. It's one of the best Canadian films ever.

A Simple Plan is great, but I
LOVE Frailty. I remember seeing it in theatres and I was simply wasn't prepared for how amazing it was. My best friend worked at Blockbuster back then (when it took six months+ for a film to come out on dvd) and I asked him every week for months "When's Frailty coming out?" He got really annoyed lol. It was such a gutsy film, and those two kids carried that film so well. Speaking of both films, Sam Raimi, along with Stephen King and James Cameron praised Frailty.
I love what Ebert had to say about the film.

The creative freedom that Paxton had with Frailty is why I was so excited to see Get Out, because it was a similar situation, debut picture from an actor-turned-director with a controversial horror film, and I knew that Peele wouldn't hold back because if he never directs another film, his career ain't over. Get Out was immensely more successful though.
