The House Next Door, look's to have water damage on bottom?
I sent a over to seller, he countered which I decline with note on how first picture appeared to be some damage. Seller replied no damage at all, just bad photo as other's have stated. Thank's RF for another deal, he accepted my second offer.
Congrats. It's a very nice book, with a quirky (I love quirky) printing history.

It's also for a good cause. The winner may be able to deduct the difference between market value (established by the lowest price a copy sells for this year) and what our HF auction copy sells for.
Consult your accountant...blah blah...
Two bids, $6.05:
The DARK TOWER 6: SONG OF SUSANNAH by Stephen King SIGNED ARTIST 1st/1st SEALED
Custom bound, but cool:
STEPHEN KING SIGNED LIMITED 1of26 "RARE" SELECTED STORIES+COA & Guarantee!
If not for fading at bottom 1/4" of book, it would be gone. Still of interest as for the early dated signature:
Stephen King SIGNED Skeleton Crew 1st
P.S., this book is a prime candidate to use the boards from a fine 1st edition and bind the page block into it.
Just a follow up to that Lettered Regulators that caused SUCH A STIR among the collecting community here.
As you know, I placed a snipe bid for a customer and "won" the book. Book arrived yesterday and with the exception of the oxidized bullet tips (everyone saw that anyway), book was totally undamaged...no water damage, no staining, just simply lovely. Traycase had a minor bit of rubbing to it but I've handled maybe 10 of these copies in 25 years and all had small abrasions to the traycase. Simply was a lovely copy and buyer got an excellent deal. I shipped book to buyer yesterday afternoon.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
That's good to hear … no foxing spots on the pages either? Very strange that the seller basically refused to supply photos of that area, that book could have gone much higher than what he ended up with
