Are we gonna have two Mad Max movies in Round 3 and yet no Metropolis?
Also, need more TDTESS votes please!
That's pretty bad.
I still need to try to watch The Day the Earth Stood Still and then I can vote.

Fun fact: three of the aliens in Return of the Jedi are named in tribute to this movie. Klaatu, Barada, Nikto.
I think The Day the Earth Stood Still is ultimately better than both Pitch Black and Altered States, which is lucky since those two have such different qualities that they'd be hard to choose between.
I want to see Altered States very badly. I love those abstract, batshit crazy sci films.
Finally voted, Jurassic Park and The Day the Earth Stood Still

Oooooops... I wan't here to vote for Jacob's Ladder, and now it is out
didn't have any chance even with my vote, though... I can't begin to understand it.

When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I can only speak for myself. I love Jacob's Ladder, but don't consider it sci-fi at all which is why I never voted for it.

yes, right, I somehow didn't think of that... true
