     Artist: Michael Whelan
     Publisher: Donald M. Grant
     Year: 1998
     State: Trade Hardback First Edition, third printing. Issue price $110 (Gift set includes DTII, DTIII and slipcase)
     Comments: Fully bound in red cloth with illustrated endpapers and pastedowns. Dust jacket art by Thomas Canty. Sold by Grant books as part of a three volume set featuring a redesigned DTII and the standard trade DTIII. Print run of 11,000 copies. Copyright page states:
     Third Printing - 1998.

    Just so it is clear to everyone: The issue price of $110 included two other books in addition to this one.

    That said, what a great giveaway item! I don't have this edition. Hmmmmm....


    Side note to Matt:

    In the listing you say, "This item will be given away in a drawing for anyone who donated or bid on one of our auctions between 1/16/10 and 1/31/10." Don't you mean anyone who won one of our auctions?

    I just did the drawing for this one - Congrats to Kim L. from the SKMB!

    I used the same program as Matt to do the drawing for this one. It's called "The Hat." I posted a screen shot below for anyone who might want to see how it works.
