He's only back a little. He seems to be slower with his replies, but is one of the best and really has quality items. A trustworthy, long time collector and seller of all things King.

My Dark Tower collection is nearing completion, with only the 1st of the Gunslinger being MIA. I'm hoping to find a sealed 2nd edition to save some money - because I could sleep well at night knowing that it COULD be a first under the shrink wrap that will never be opened!

There IS a difference between the dust jackets for the first and second editions that is visible from the outside--I think it's the first has more of a yellow tint to the lettering than the second, which is more orange. I'm not a 100% sure of this (it may be reversed, i.e., the first is more orange) but I'm pretty sure. I only have a first. I don't have any real desire to get a second.

Even easier to look at the boards from the top or bottom through the shrinkwrap... first boards are maroon. the boards for the second are black

If you are patient, you might find the entire package (book and cards) for = or< than the cards.

Yeah, I occasionally look, but then always decide not to get a 2nd copy of the book. I should have pressed the publisher about it, but it way my first post-DT S/L and didn't think to at the time. I know I'll find it cheaply though.
