Thanks to It, Gerald’s Game, the upcoming Castle Rock, and even The Mist and The Dark Tower, Stephen King is hot in Hollywood again. But just because the film and TV industries are once again taking notice of the legendary writer doesn’t mean fans have ever forgotten him.
Once such fan is artist Jordan Monsell. He has created this vivid poster he’s calling “King Country” that’ll first be on sale at this month’s Monsterpalooza in Pasadena, CA. It combines over 170 different King characters, references, and more into one image. Check it out.
The main influence on this, of course, is Stephen King, but Monsell also cites Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel as visual inspirations. As for the references, some of them are obvious. Others, not so much. It would take a true King fan to name them all and, thankfully, Monsell has provided a key that makes it easy to check yourself.
So, how did you do?
If you’d like to snag one of these 16x20 inch prints, they’ll be on sale at Table 97 at Monsterpalooza, taking place April 13-15 at the Pasadena Convention Center in California. Additional copies will go on sale at a later date and info will be on Monsell’s Facebook.
That is VERY cool!

He's the master of horror.
He's been terrifying millions of people around the world since the '70s.
He wrote an entire novel about a sex game that went wrong leaving a woman handcuffed to a bed for days on end (the movie adaption of which will be dropping on Netflix soon, by the way).
Now, King has gotten even better because he's only gone and had a range of bath bombs created in his honour.
Inspired by some of the author's most successful (and most terrifying books), Etsy user Clara has designed a collection of bath bombs that are sure to make your bathing experience scary, unnerving, but most importantly, relaxing.
There's this incredible bomb based on The Shining.
This one inspired by the iconic final scene in Carrie.
And in keeping with King's latest release, there's a few It themed bombs to choose from too.
They are, of course, fab.
And this 'Man in Black' bomb from The Dark Tower series which is, okay, just black, but would definitely turn the water a creepy af colour.
Clara's Suds N Duds is also selling a load of other pop culture inspired bombs from The Nightmare Before Christmas to Despicable Me.
Her bombs start at €5.28, are all handmaid, and you can even order three-pack or four-pack sets if you're any way that inclined.
Which we absolutely are.
I don't get it : "Stephen King slammed for 'cruel' joke about Melania Trump's kidney surgery"
No he is not.
He said : "Not to be snarky, but Melania can probably use a week’s rest from Blabbermouth Don. Sounds heavenly to me."
He's glad that she has a week away from Donald. How is that a cruel joke about her surgery?

That's Fox News for you. Like, a joke that doesn't even target her but rather her husband is cruel but Trump's comment about Mika's facelift is acceptable.

What's a bath bomb?
They dissolve in the water and add different scents and colors to the bath. The Man in Black bomb would make the water black.

Has the White house apologized for the John McCain "joke" yet?
Did Trump ever apologize for mocking Serge F. Kovaleski, the disabled NYT reporter?
My point is Trump has lowered the bar with his rhetoric. For his state-run TV channel to get offended is rather amusing.
I had the same exact thought King had but maybe mocking someone's loveless marriage isn't the best look. The leader sets the tone though and it's hard to know what is or isn't offensive when the leader doesn't know himself.
Never ask people without a clue to use reason to approach their world. They won't get it. They don't even understand that they are unreasonable.
The funniest part to me was the responses. These people dug deep into their rhetorical skills to come up with these gems:
Where is the civility?
Cruel, shame!
How disgraceful
Are they describing Trump or King's comment?
It's hard to tell with hypocrites.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
What line did King cross?
