I have to disagree... and here is why Paul. It costs most members a small fortune to go to these events... cost me thousands each time I went. As much as I want to help my friends and members.. that is just not practical for aiding in my upfront costs. Now.. a deal.. for sure! I even offered to trade many members that had been to other signings for a extra they might have got and we each covered our own shipping but for cost... that is tough IMO.

That's a lot of signed books on this tour. I agree it is a bit different than the Revival tour where there were some book signings in which people could get multiple copies for sale but with random distribution some people who don't collect will undoubtedly try to make a profit. Probably starts out high at $400 and when no one bites ends up at $200-250. I also wouldn't be surprised if we are getting close to the end of King's book signing days. He looks a bit frail. If this turns out to be the final rodeo that might bump up the prices. I just want one. Probably heading to the PA signing. Know some folks in TN who can go to Nashville so maybe I get lucky.

Yeah, but we wouldn't now that NOW - what would happen is a few years from now people would say "huh, he hasn't signed books in a long time, I better get a signed copy of "End of Watch" while I still can..."

But his health/career/etc won't affect values in the short-term. I don't think, anyway.

You would know it if he died or announced that his health was going to preclude it in the future. There was some odd language Ms Mod used in discussing this tour. I hope he lives to be a hundred and writes 50 more books but David Bowie just passed away at the same age as King.

I don't really know what you're taking about here, and I certainly don't want you to PP me $30.

Wait, I think I get it now. You're saying you will send me $30 in advance and when I get a signed book I can send it to you. Sure no problem. I would put my money where my mouth is. If I had a signed book it would be yours for $30. However you will most likely have a copy sooner than I will because unfortunately I've decided to not attend the event. The closest one to me is an 8 hour drive and without a guarantee of a signed book on top of some health challenges, I had to decide to miss this one.

The PA book store is indicating that tickets will have to be purchased in person at the store. That means making the trip twice. Once to buy tickets and then for the event. Making it a tremendous hassle for anyone who has to travel a good distance. Hopefully that changes but that is what they have posted. The event will also apparently be held at night starting at 7pm.

Romey, you know I love ya like a brother, but perhaps it is you who has "Forgotten the face of your Father". The, USA, as we know it to be, was settled East to West, period. No argument available. Had the good people of, Boston, New York, et al not fought and won our freedom from tyranny, you would likely be living in a "Tee Pee" or some such without the, Spa's, Massage parlors, Earthquakes and retired governing actors of which you refer!!!
