Thank you all....got home LATE last night and got little sleep as I had to work overnight...I'm afraid to open Betts computer later today as I'll be swarmed with emails from 3 days. Always a pain to start behind the eight ball so to speak.
My hope is to gather items to list for BLACK FRIDAY/HOLIDAY Sale later this week. Will have to work my butt off to get there in time.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to my BOOK DEALER. I received a missing piece in my collection yesterday. I cant give away my secret on how this was obtained, but i HAVE to say if you need a BOOK someone on THIS site is the place to go. Without mentioning names (but he posted right above me), I recieved my personal HOLY GRAIL! The signed limited BOOK club edition of FDNS. I was able to cry, beg and plea for over 3 years and my BOOK DEALER sent me his personal copy. ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE. This also ends my silent and personal feud with Kingfan who was able to secure a copy from BETTS BOOKS last year.
OOPS, i gave my secret away, I cried, begged and pleaded. I think i wore him down.
IT IS AWESOME and a PRIZED treasure in my collection. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The silent auction is up on the site. Some cool items, but pretty far out of my collecting bubble. Anybody have any thoughts or info they want to share about the items or items like these in general? I would be interested to hear more about their desirability/rarity/backstory/etc.

Sometimes I wonder how David can operate Betts and not buy everything for himself. Some very unusual items there!

I will be keeping my eye on the prices for selfish reasons. I also want to know the market value of the items I have. I have some with earlier signatures. I got King to sign my Startling Mystery Stories, but it does not look great with the newer signature.
