Not so much a complaint as an observation: It felt very minimalist, which gave it an almost oldschool 16 bit game feel to it, like the way some of the mid 90s castlevanias would start with an extremely easy but fun and simple level to get ya up to speed before the real challenges began

I've figured out about the other rooms... I've moved in to the pantry.. read the journal... but cant find what it says I should find...
I think this is a well done chapter, doing a good job of setting the tone, exploring what is, laying the ground for what is going to come next.
