I'm not a huge fan of Vance, but I enjoyed some of his books and was also able to get a signed bookplate by him from the people involved in the complete collection.
Last thing I knew about him was that he was blind.

THE COLORADO KID J. K. Potter edition. This is a PC copy autographed by Potter. I got this from The Overlook Connection as part of the compensation for never sending my damaged book back some time ago.
