Also interestingly Don will be providing art for the new Grim Oak Press anthology Unfettered 2. That pushes me closer to buying it, but I'm a bit on the fence with the them now. They keep making more announcements but still have yet to deliver on previous ones.

SubPress think that 'Broken empire' is almost done: 'We hear from Grim Oak Press that their HUGE (over 1000 pages) edition of Mark Lawrence's The Broken Empire is a few small hurdles from publication. Which seemed like a good enough reason to us to share the cover art, and let you know we've sold 80% of the copies we've been allotted.'
..but The last update from Sean was a few weeks ago when he thought they were about 2months away yet.
I also have Unbound and the Shannara set on order (but I opted to have the Shannara set ship in one go next year).
I am also on the fence about putting more money their way with so much on back order, but I'll see what next weeks annoucement brings before I decide.
Heck i'm still waiting on Unbound and Unremembered.
Just picked-up my Maitz Original "Halloran and the Lion" from the framer...
Frame matches the other 3 original pieces I picked up from Don earlier this year!

I sent a note to Don to see if he wanted to chime in on the "discovery" of the embedded images. Hope he chimes in here! If not, I'll let you know his perspective....
Now, I gotta' go home and check out the other pieces to see if there are similar, hidden images!
If you can't see the 3 images, follow these simple directions (you need to have three of these for this to work):
Makers Mark and Coke Float
2 scoops Blue Bell® vanilla ice cream
1 can Coca-Cola®
2 oz Maker's Mark® bourbon whiskey
Scoop two large scoops of vanilla ice-cream into frosted beer mug.
Next, add 2 ounces Maker's Mark. Then, pour in coke. Gently stir and enjoy.
Now, after your third one, go back and look at the painting.
