Got the cop/spiders prelim sketch!

The Bat and the cop with spider prelim is sold. Both will ship out today. Thank you both. I appreciate it.
I have 2 more remarques to show you all.
I had sent Don extra books in the beginning of the project in case any of them got damaged (One indeed tore when it fell off his drawing board while the pages were still wet). When we were done, Don asked me what he should do with the extra 2 books. I asked that he remarque them as well with anything he like and mark them 'artist copy'. These 2 additional copies are not part of the 19 copies in the project and are not for sale. But I thought you might be interested to see them. Enjoy.

They are very nice. I'm surprised you aren't keeping the proof and remarque together, but each to his own thing. I got to see those on Don's website. To be honest, I had harboured hopes that one of these might find it's way into the fundraiser. They both look really good, but I like the tentacles best.

My pleasure, Jerome. I contribute every year anyway. But having Don involved was a special treat.
I had already commited all the prelims to be part of the 13 for sale before I realized that those prelims correspond to my own artist copy. So I did not want to go back on my word and remove them from the sale for my own benefit. It just would not seem fair. That's why they were sold as well. Oh well...live and learn.
You got to split some things up...that way somebody has the prelim sketch of something that's actually unavailable, so cool cache...
Jerome, I knew he had given already, but I had hopes that one of those might turn up later in the give too. You never know how things can go.

Thank you very much, guys. I really like it as well. When I first saw the finished draft, I got so excited and couldn’t wait to share it with everyone else. It's not usual that we get to see the working of an artist. I am so glad that Don is so willing to share his thoughts on them.
