I hope everyone liked their drafts. I feel pretty good about my team if Vick and McFadden stay healthy, if Calvin Johnson doesn't get hit by the Madden curse, if Brown, Martin, and Smith are actually as good as advertised, and if Fred Davis doesn't do something stupid and get suspended. So, yeah, everything looks great. You might say I have a high risk/high reward team.
Everyone, please remember the first game is Wednesday so you need to set your lineups early.

Merlin your team does look pretty good. I picked up Matthews in my other league so I took that same risk. I think it will pay off.

I personally enjoyed week one however based on previous fantasy FF experience this will not be a constant. I am sure I will be feeling the pain and anguish soon.
I got lucky this week. I had to autodraft last weekend since I wasn't going to be around a PC during draft time. Fortunately, I had a QB and RB that did well, so my team had a good showing. I'm sure I will have bad weeks along with the good.
Yeah, you enjoyed week 1 at my expense. I scored 97 and you still almost beat me by 30. Oh well, hopefully some will go my way.
After week one it looks like the league is going to be pretty competitive.
Also, don't forget that there are Thursday games almost every week this year, so checkout your lineups early.

I hope that this season is an opposite of the first DT fantasy league I was in. That season I started with a good win and then proceeded to lose the next five or so.
I found a draft report card option under the league manager tools but I cannot get it to link so that it appears here. I think ESPN set it so that the only way to share it is via Facebook. Oh well. Here are the grades:

On a more serious note, everyone needs to remember the Thursday games and set lineups early. Underhax Breadcrumbs is starting Greg Jennings against me and he is not playing. I would have sent him an email but I didn't get off work until game time. Let's all please keep track of our teams. Fair warning to all: I will almost always forget about the Thursday games.
Hey, a win is a win. And like I said before I don't necessarily agree with the "report card" that ESPN created. It is based on preseason rankings created by them and if those were 100% accurate then there would be no surprises or upstart players. I think the main reason that you got the grade you did and still started 2-0 was because RGIII has surpassed just about everyone's expectations already. Plus all the "experts" were pretty down on Gore and he has had one of the hottest starts of any running back not named Spiller. My RB1 McFadden on the other hand has one of the worst starts of the highly-rated running backs.
