Regarding McKean's illustrations, I really liked his work! The order of my dt favourites is:
- The gunslinger
- The Dark Tower
- The wastelands
- Song of Susannah
- Wizard and glass
- The drawing of the three (2nd ed.)
- The drawing of the three (1st ed)
- Wolves of the calla.

It is cool to have all the DT art in one spot, though.

I love any shot of Oy though, he is represented there exactly as I imagined him.

Oy, he is one of the most individually pictured in your mind characters, besides Roalnd I think

I agree, the picture of him in wolves was close, but DT7 cover is definitly Roland
DT7 cover is perfect, but Jake I don´t like in this book.
Jake looks almost feminin
