Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.

The boobies do not come with the costume, and mine are not nearly that prominent, but I am sure it will still look fine. And there will be a picture.
Woofer, I took him into two Halloween stores today, but it was no good. All the stores sell are kids' costumes or slutty women's costumes, there were maybe ten costumes for men and they were all pretty lame. So we are still stuck on that, but something's gotta happen soon, we're less than two weeks away now.
Threaten to dress him as Raggedy Andy if he can't find something soon.

LOL...sorry guys. I got it in a email this morning and figured I could share it here.

Now THAT'S a costume!

Well, it seems that my costume will be a surprise even for me - I'm going to borrow something from the warderobe of our theatre for the Deaf. I really hope there's something else left than a gorilla costume..

I have no idea what to dress up as for Halloween.
I have barely any money. Although I'm not sure it matters, as I'll be attending the crappiest party of the decade.
I'm more excited about seeing everyone's pics here than the night itself!
Ka-mai, that dress is beautiful!
Time spent with cats is never wasted.
Ugh, i'm in the same boat Alisha. Tbh, i'm not even sure i will be dressing up this year. I'm so skint that I might just stay home or go round a mate's and watch some scary horror movies (with Alien top of the list). I might just have enough money for a night out, but there are only two costumes I can think of to afford: the 8th Doctor (again) or the Master, which is basically just a funeral suit. Was kinda hoping to afford a cheap brown pinstripe suit, whilst Ten's still the current Doctor, but nope, unemployment ruined that. Hmmm, to go out or not to go out. Or in the words of the Two Ronnies: to be or not to be, they're both the same!
Unless people want pics of me in an 8th Doctor costume, but battle scarred? You know, mess up the posh suit, wear an old white shirt just so i can get it ripped up. Because, honestly, there's nothing more awesome in a story than when a really nice suit gets totally fucked up!
Or is that just me?

As long as there's pics, Doc!
I miss being 8. I want to go trick or treating and eat sweets until I barf.

A tip for prop making that I just learned: do NOT spray paint Styrofoam...it will melt into a sad glob! :/

Bra and a slip... pretty simple costume for Janet Weiss...
But it sure gets some looks!

Alisha and Doc, search on my posts. I've offered up a bunch of suggestions and posted links to costume information sites. Also, remember that it doesn't have to be a big deal. Simple costumes can be the best.
We never throw old costuming stuff away until it literally cannot be used any longer.

What Woofer said.
DBF has a costume box for the annual party (come in costume or you WILL be dressed at the door, and that's a dicey move if we've been drinking for awhile!)
We have quite an eclectic collection of odds and ends.

Matt is going as Hugh Hefner. He is thrilled. This is pretty much a reflection of his true nature (the nature I crushed ) so it should work well.
Also I am planning on getting Matt to watch Rocky Horror because he has never seen it (!) and that just isn't right. I hope it's on tv though because I don't want to buy it and I'm pretty sure someone has rented it already.
ROFL
I googled RHPS to see if anyone like hulu had it posted for Halloween, but no luck. However, it looks like you could piece it together from all the individual clips out there if you had the time, patience, and software (of course you might get different cuts).

I've finally got all the bits for the kids costumes. Ruby wants to be the Corpse Bride, so I managed to pick up a really cheap wedding dress (just a kid's dressing up one) that came with a veil and some white lace gloves on ebay. I have face/body paints already and got some blue spray dye for her hair. Max is going to be a mummy, for which I have bought thousands of bandages which I'm going to soak in tea to give them an aged effect and then sprinkle liberally with fake blood For Sam's werewolf costume I've bought fangs and claws and some hairy eyebrows, then I'm going to facepaint him and dress him in Rob's old clothes that will be ripped and blood splattered. I'm getting quite excited!!
