    I've had great luck placing my number on the no-call list. I rarely, if ever, get unknown calls. Except for Sirius. Those folks are relentless! I also get several emails a week from them as well as mailings it seems at least once a week.

    I feel your pain. I get maybe 5 or 6 a day. Almost always on weekdays (spammers must have weekends off).

    I used to use an app called Mr number. it blocks suspected spam, but the problem with it is that people can mark numbers as spam. So many times I have gotten legitimate calls but people marked them as spam, so they got blocked. For instance was expecting call from home-depot to arrange delivery of something I bought. Or once I arranged to have a phone consultation with someone from Fidelity, but it got blocked (that sucked because I arrainged to work from home that day, and when I called him back to tell him his call was blocked, got his vmail, and he never called back).

    Are there actually people out there that believe that by simply clicking "like", commenting on and sharing a Facebook post that they'll win a new car/boat/RV? Nobody ever actually wins these things right?

    Haha. I think people are so in the habit of clicking that like button that they don't even thing about what they're doing. They see that little button and they can't resist the urge. Much like a bug flies into a bug zapper. They can't resist it.
